About Flower Child
Bringing the garden to you
Who is Flower Child?
"What began as an act of self-expression in the form of a blog has now grown into what is the Flower Child brand. Sharing stories from my life of gardening on Turra Lodge Farm nurtured my relationship with nature and healing. After launching my first product in 2021, I quickly realised how I could share my passion for nature through the fragrance of the gardens around me. Putting a focus on high quality formulas, I set out to achieve a 100% natural product range with nature as a top priority. Eliminating harmful chemicals, I fragrance all my products using undiluted essential oils. Designing product packaging to be fully compostable, Flower Child is on a mission to give back to the environment. Not only can we benefit from nature but we can simultaneously benefit nature itself. From a simple blog rooted in nature and mindful living to a loved Irish wellness brand.
Our story so far
Where it began
In 2021 Flower Child began as a lifestyle blog sharing gardening, wellness, and mindful living from the gardens at Turra Lodge Farm on the Carlow and Laois border. After being featured on RTE's Irelands Garden Heroes, the Flower Child blog began to build a strong community.
Discovering natural solutions
During this time, as I struggled with my mental health, Iwas exploring natural supports to help boost my mood. I was gifted a set ofessential oils from a dear friend and this is when I discovered the power ofaromatherapy. Aromatherapy became the natural progression of Flower Child as Irealised I could create products that would allow me to bring the benefits ofthe great outdoors to everyday moments.
Big decisions
In 2022, Flower Child was still a passion project as my day job was in the corporate marketing world. As the brand began to gain traction, I found myself in a place of having to decide between my marketing career or the potential career of Flower Child. I wanted to take the leap and make Flower Child my world, but it all seemed too scary.
Taking the leap
In 2023 a blessing came in disguise. My health took a turn for the worse as my epilepsy became out of control. I had to leave my corporate job, and this is when the decision was made. Flower Child became my everything. In between doctors’ appointments and hospital stays, I poured all my love and energy into the brand. It was the thing that kept me going through the darkest of times.
Healing with gratitude
One year and two brain surgeries later, I could not have been more thankful. Flower Child was growing. I was recovering and my dream was coming true. During the most challenging times I had built a business that not only spreads love, but shares the one thing that got me through; love for nature. I became clear on what I wanted Flower Child to be; Strong natural scent packed full of therapeutic benefits. Packaging that feels gift ready but is also eco-friendly, and most of all, kind to nature.
Where we are today
2025 has hosted a number of highs for the brand. Expanding to over 36 products and spreading to over 100 retailers, from Ireland to Canada and many spaces in between. Featured by RTÉ, the Independent, Leinster Express, New Frontiers and RTÉ Radio 1. In 2025 alone, we produced and sold more than fifty thousand tea lights with many sell outs along the way. I now have amazing women by my side who all come together helping me make the magic that is Flower Child as we know it today.

Sustainability at Flower Child
Our approach at a glance
I love nature and I want Flower Child to tread lightly. We focus on honest materials, clear guidance and small choices that add up over time. You will see this in our packs, our sourcing and the projects we support.
Packaging that treads lightly
We choose materials that can return to useful life. Our bottles use amber glass that can be recycled again and again without losing quality. Our labels are compostable. For shipping we use biodegradable mailers made from plant based materials.
Natural aromatherapy with purpose
Natural aromatherapy can lift mood and ease daily stress while being kinder to the planet when chosen with care. It supports personal well being and conscious living in the same breath.
Responsible sourcing
We partner with suppliers who share our values so ingredients and materials are selected with care. This is a constant effort as we review and improve what we buy and who we buy from.
Giving back through trees
We support reforestation through a partnership with One Tree Planted. Planting trees is a simple, steady way to give back to the places that inspire our scents
How you can help at home
Rinse and recycle amber glass where accepted. Remove the compostable label for your compost bin if your local service accepts it. Flatten boxes, reuse packing where possible and choose refills or top ups when it suits your routine.
Always improving
Sustainability is a journey. I keep looking for kinder options and I welcome ideas from our community. Small changes made often can have a real effect.
